Tatics. Own or Others?

Do you use your own tatics or use tatics from the forums?

Own tactics, would Sir Alex Ferguson go on an internet forum for advice on tactics?

always my own. I'm no master tactician but It wouldn't feel right if I had success with someone else's tactics

My own. I would not even think about using another. If other people want to - to improve their experience of FM then great. But I do feel what's the point? If you want to win through the expertise of someone other than yourself then you may as well go on holiday etc.

My own, I prefer building a tactic around my squad, then altering my squad to improve the quality, and eventually tweak the tactic to perfection. More fun, more succesful (I would imagine). I have checked the Tactics forum for inspiration though.

My own, because I doubt I'd find a tactic online that would immediately fit every team I manage, so I always try and create my own to suit my teams, and eventually mould them into my favoured formation and style.

I always create my own until I (by luck) find one that seems to work. I have no idea why it works, it's just trial and error.

No, he just get's his coaches to sort it out.

I've searched for tactical advice plenty of times before, how everything works etc, but i never use someone's downloaded tactics. It's pointless.

Download, take ideas that I like from other peoples tactics, then implement them into my own.

Especially this year. Although Match Prep doesn't seem to have a massive amount of effect on the ME, it's still worthwhile developing a tactic and using it with a few minor modifications throughout the year. And as of this incarnation of FM the game is nowhere near as harsh on even the default tactics as it has been previously.

my own. haven't used someone elses tactics in nearly a decade (nagano's 4-3-1-2 and 4-1-3-2 iirc) and even then i made a few tweaks

I used downloaded tactics in FM09 because I could never figure out the Sliders. Since FM10, though, I've made my own.

I just use the games standard 4-4-2 formation. that's worked for me for FM 2008-2010. Can't see a reason to change

Only ever my own, since i was 12 (25 now).

I like to think my interest and knowledge in football goes beyond transfers and who's at what club.

After all, you could build a team of galacticos but if you don't know how to get them to play you won't win a thing.

its always best to use your own,then when you have a moan on here people can say "its YOUR tactics"...i just wish someone could explain defending to me...some days my back four are like watching ann widdooooooooohcam.

Def my own tacticts, thats why i buy the game for to manage and not to use others which would be a complete waste of time.

I like the achievement of winning trophys and knowing its down to me and my tactics oh and my backroom staff

Own everytime, I love that feeling when a set piece comes off or when you just out perform a better team after scrutinizing your tactics. I'm always surprised at how many people are viewing the tactics forum

I have tried quite a few downloaded tactics, but switched to my own immediately. After all I am the manager and I have to make my own tactics.

A mixture. I usually download some that seem to fit my style of play ... would a real life manager not look to other teams for inspiration?? .. of course they do

Once I have downloaded some and it is not working out for me, I start tweaking it to suit my team better. I just don't have the knowledge or patience to start from scratch (which none of really do as we use one of the basic ones as a template, right? )
