I wonder if someone can help me?

I want to download FM 2011, this is the first time ever that I have not bought the game on the day of release, (I'm even talkiing back in the CM days on my amiga!) and it is killing me.

I am getting a new laptop at Christmas so thought i'd wait until then to download the game. Thing is I don't know if I can wait that long.

If I use my existing laptop to downlaod and install it, will I be able to transfer it across to my new laptop? I'm hoping to just download steam and then copy my ssaved game across.

Can anyone tell me if they have done this or am I better off buying the hard copy of the game?

I dont use steam, but as far as i know you just install steam on your computer...then download the game.

So once you get your new computer, again just install steam on it. And re-download your game.

I'm sure someone else on here will correct me if i'm wrong.

Great, thanks for the info! I haven't used Steam either but the cheapest price appears to be the 23.99 to download it.

Personnally I'd buy the PC boxed game and install it from the DVD.

Im sure its around £17.99 in shops now. Maybe even less by Christmas/New year.

Steam always have Christmas sales so FM11 might drop in price around that time.
