Annoying Player Interaction

I have signed a new player who can play AMLRC and ST. Now Galvan is unhappy about this new guy arriving due to there being too many player who can play in his position. I have no plans to play the new player as a striker where Galvan plays. Now I know I can say he is still first choice but why is there no option to tell him that I do not plan to play the new signing in his position so he has no need to worry.

I know it is only a small thing but there really should be a few more options in the player interaction in several areas not just this one.

Can't really see how it can be argued that shouldn't be an option! I guess the first choice option would say "look, you're playing in <position> and the new guy doesn't affect that" but it isn't crystal clear.

Agreed, but whichever option you pick there's no doubt he'll say:

"I think I should leave before I say something I regret!"
