Been trying for over a week now to get one started with different people.I've told him to turn his firewall off and allow my ip address,still no joy. I'm on a mac so I was wondering if that would be the problem but i have played on previous years with ought no trouble. I have also tried using hamachi and komodo, again both not working... ada5tra Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 If you have been fine in previous years then its probably not this,but initially i had to ring my isp to open the ports for fm.Apparently they didnt trust me to open them myself because it still wouldnt work when i did it manually..had to ring them and they had to do it from their end.If not afraid I dunno.I play a lot regularly and i have had no problem from previous versions all the way to this. An afterthought would be to mention you need the same update version as the other player,but thats pretty obvious so i didnt want to insult your intelligence.
