Game doesn't save my settings

When I load my Reading game, my personal game settings aren't saved and go back to default for example, I had Stones instead of KG, Feet instead of Cm's and the suggestion help boxes appear when I ticked 'never use'

How could I get my game to save my personal settings?

Any help because I'm watching The Ashes tonight and FM11 will be on during it

From the FAQ thread:

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:

My Computer

'Tools'

'Folder Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

My Computer

'Organize'

'Folder and Search Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Delete the following folder:

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\Settings

Vista/Win7:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\Settings

still doesnt solve the problem

the same thing can happen when you make changes to set piece and corner instructions, sometimes they revert to default and dont save which is very annoying.

its been reported in the UI bug forum.
