carl000
Have played the game since the CM days... but now things are alot more complex with all the different roles a player can play in each position, the same tactics have always worked up untill this version of FM. I've played 2 seasons with ManU and can't finish any higher than mid table. Im obvo not doing something right lol.. Is there a place where I can learn more about how the tactics/formations work and which would work best with my team? Only player i've bought is Rene Adler (Goalkeeper) my team is very inconsistent at winning.
Andy H
Tactics and training forum is what you are after.
crouchaldinho
Yes, Andy H is spot on. Try here - http://community.sigames.com/forumdisplay.php/18-Tactics-amp-Training-Tips I recommend the sticky thread T&T '10 at the top of the forum. Also Woifsong's team talks thread is very good. That should help for starters.
kingjericho
Tactical Theorems '10 helped me a lot. Read it calmly, experiment tactics and the advices given there and you'll learn lots of useful things
Johnjo
Everything that has been mentioned above, but i would also look into other areas than just the tactics, motivation is a big thing as well.
phnompenhandy
The Tactics Forum really will be a revelation to you. The Tactical Theorem guide (free download) is a big thick pdf file of loveliness. Once you understand the depth of tactics in FM you'll never play the game in the same way. The whole forum is a massive education. Johnjo is also correct - player personalities and their management play a big role too these days. Keep perusing the more cerebral threads in the forums and get a thorough education.
