I am out of contract

I have made a mistake on the game and I am hoping there is a way to stop it. I accidently let my contract run out as manager of Aston Villa and I had jsut finished 3rd in my second season at the club. I have got a game save that is 2 weeks before my contract ends but when i go to the personal bit to renew my contract the new contract bit is greyed out. I wanted a one year contract but accidently ended up only having a two month contract. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Just add manager and put yourself back in charge.

cool was thinking that but was checking if there was another way as I want to keep my reputation.

I had this problem in FM2010, the only way that I could think to solve it was to open FMRTE and add a couple of years to my contract

Will you not automatically stay on a rolling 1 month contract? In the meantime ask the board for a new deal. Or they may offer you one.

Not in my experience. You usually just leave, and clubs usually don't offer a contract with a week left on your old one

Or just accept your mistake and move on to a new chapter in your career
