When choose an opposition, what is the amount besides the opposition name mean ?

I didn't aware about this all the time when I play 2010 but only now I aware that high amount no necessarily mean higher revenue than lower amount. Sometimes high amount got no revenue at all

The amount next to the teams name is the fee you would have to pay them for playing you. There is also a bit of text near the conform button stating how much the club expects to recieve in revenue from this match. Obviously you need to look at how much you will get in relation to how much your going to pay the team your playing. Higher rep team means a higher fee but also means more revenue.
