Overreaction?

This is a problem I've experienced in fm 2010 and I just had the same problem playing on my man utd save.

I'm on my second season at Man Utd, I won the league last year and about 10 games into the second season i'm around 4th, 1 point away from 1st. I played Cardiff at home in the prem, we played awfully conceding early and were second best all game. Luckily Rooney scored twice in the last 10 minutes and we won 2-1, but we deserved to lose. I wasn't happy with the performance so my team talk selection was "It was a good result, but a poor performance", a fair enough summary of the match in my opinion.

However Modric isn't happy, he wants a private chat and says he isn't happy with my team talks. And then when I tell him that I didn't agree with him he said he couldn't believe I was treating him this way and handed in a transfer request and says he wants to leave. Would this really happen? Players are so sensitive on fm 2011, anybody else has this problem or any thoughts on it?

Very similair. Although only in my first year.

I just put it down to an experienced player taking exception to my inexperience.
