danlfc8
Ive not got that far in the game yet to be honest but just wondering if as manager you can negotiate your own contract? Be interesting if you could add in promotion bonuses or winning the league bonus etc? Also being able to appoint an agent of ourselves? Is this in the game or is it a good idea ? nev147
Having bonuses is a great idea. When ever I am offered a new contract I just agree - as I am not bothered about the wage as it serves no purpose. But I always feel bonuses should be there. Like you said gaining promotion, avoiding relegation, a promise to improve the training faculties in the next two years. Or increase the capacity within a set date. Also what about offering team bonuses? We have ones for winning competitions - but what about ones for avoiding relegation, or a top half finish as FM assumes all clubs have the ability to challenge for honours which is not the case. Edit: I started the post before your bump!!! lol
The_Gent
You are able to negotiate to give yourself a lower wage on this one. For instance, I negotiated my contract down to £1 a week, just so I had more money for player wages. Didn;t see any other clauses you could add though.
