News Subscriptions Help pls

I seem to be getting loads of news about every player - is there anyway to stop this. Is there anything in The Manage Subscriptions section that will stop this? Thanks

what kind of news about every player?

Mainly transfer news but somehow there are 10,000 players in the Manage Subscriptions Player section and I dont know how they got there.

So many that the game hangs when I try to edit them out.

I'm not sure, I didn't even start with one player subscription but 10,000, that must be a nightmare.

Did you import a shortlist? (Say from FMRTE or Genie Scout)

FM has a silly little thing that will place every player on a shortlist into your news subscriptions

Though, I think, if you goto your shortlists, ctrl-a and right click, then click on "unsubscribe" it should remove all those players from your news subscriptions

I have not imported anything. Your advice looks good but having done this - the 10000 players are stillshowing up in the Players section of Manage Subs - maybe your advice will stop the news though. Many thanks for your help

The programs hanging so maybe its deleting these 10k!

Well, I would report it as a bug

If you didn't add them yourself (or import anything), they shouldn't really be there, or at least not such a large amount

Not a problem as such, more of a design flaw within the game

Basically, if you import a player shortlist, all players on it will automatically become subscribed, regardless of if you want it or not

Importing a tactic would not have the same effect, so that shouldn't be the cause
