Im Currently 15k under my wage budget and My Marquee Australian is earning 1.4k and my Foreign Marquee is Earning 1.3k Why cant i spend more the 2.2k on another player ? when i started i had two players above 5k Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
charlo116 Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 Basically you're allowed one australian marquee player and one other marquee player (foreign or not) who's salaries are exempt from the cap. You are also allowed a junior marquee who can have up to $AU 150,000 outside the salary cap. I haven't played the a-league in fm 11 but in fm 10 it was a bit annoying as the game automatically selected your top earner for the marquee spot, it made all the contract negotiations a bit messy. The reason why you can't spend more is because there probably still isn't an option to offer a contract as a marquee player so the most you can offer is limited by the clubs wage budget and the salary cap.
