Sheva Elite
Best example I've had is Borriello. He is in the last 6 months of his ~£70k deal. Milan won't renew it and he is demanding around £100k from someone else. What happens? His contract runs out and Genoa sign him as a free agent on £24k. He could have easily got £50k off someone if he'd done it whilst in his last 6 months at Milan but he made silly demands. Same thing happened with G. Milito. He wanted £105k. But then when he got released I got him on around £30k. Basically, players at clubs demand far too much money compared to what they are worth and what they demand in real life. Old players are not going to get a wage rise, unless many clubs want them and bid the wages up. And players that demand transfers are not in a position to demand a wage rise from their new club
