Can't make substitutions?!

If I attempt to make a substitution via the tactics screen, upon clicking and dragging a player's number, it won't swap with the substitute player.and instead of dragging the players number, it will just drag an invisible box. I can use the quick tactics to make a substitution, expect if a player is injured, upon which, I have to actually quit the game and re-load my last save. Not sure if this is actually a bug or whether it's a setting of some sort which is why I posted it here. By the way, this only occurs for about half of my games.

Any help?

I have exactly the same problem, If a player gets an injury and this problem arises it becomes impossible to use the quick tactics and therefore continue the game unless I go on holiday! It's very frustrating.

same, stopping my save now till december patch =/

Pause game and go into full tactics, it's not that big of a problem, though it should be fixed all right.

I've figured it out guys, all you need to do is make sure you aren't using a custom view in the tactics screen, so click the drop down menu and choose "stats", "morale", "selection" etc. Should work fine now.

This solution doesn't seem to work for me, when the problem arises (as it's only intermittent) changing the view doesn't help - also my view is pretty much always on "condition" anyway.

Try actually deleting any custom views you may have saved, even if they aren't your active view. If this doesn't work, I can't help you sorry mate. Yours may actually be a bug then.

Ah okay, yes I had some custom tactics saved that weren't active but I've deleted them and so far the problem hasn't happened again...yet! Thanks for the advice, hopefully it's fixed!
