SWaRFeGa
Install steam on new laptop. Log in to Steam. Download FM11. Transfer across any relevant files (saved games, tactics, custom edits, etc) using a memory stick.

If in doubt - copy across your entire "Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010" from My Documents on your previous laptop.
RyanBRFCv1
I do believe you can just transfer your folder from one PC to another without having to download FM11 again. Try just moving "Steamsapps" folder to the same place on the new Laptop but of course download and install steam first then replace the folder. Then just move your SI folder across, it would be like not even moving PC/Laptop.
