Player unavailability

Can we be a bit more specific about why they aren't available instead of being so vague.

I picked Stalybridge Celtic and after a few months, my right midfielder Ryan Crowther cannot play for 4 months. After a bit of research, he has been banged up for assault and I think I should have the right to terminate his contract without paying compensation.

But these are instances involving real people and real actions. They've happened outside the FM series. The FM series does not incorporate events such as this, so it's been worked around as you've described. Don't get so personal with someone in the game - it's just a simulation, not real-life.

He's a waste of a cash-strapped club's resources. Wages I could use on someone who is able to play.

I don't think thats a fair comparison.

Jail and Physio's Room are world's apart.

I think a manager would be justified in sacking him for gross misconduct.

But this did not happen in FM. It happened elsewhere - he's Googling and finding out facts that bear no relevance to the FM series. He's unavailable, and that's the end of it.
