DJLM82
Hello, I have an old IDE HD here that is on it's last days. My faithfull 160gb HD has been with me for a long time. I have backed up important files, so when it dies, it'll go in peace. That being said... The HD has 2 partitions: E and J Why is FM2011 using the J drive for temporary file and how do I change this? Recently playing FM2011 I got a warning from windows 7 about corrupted file in J:\$Mft related to Football Manager 2011 - fm.exe Why is it using this driver for temp file? I guess this is what is causing my FM2011 to display "not responding" for long periods out of nowhere only to come back as if nothing happened. Can I control the temp file location? Best Regards. GeordieG1971
In the preference settings there is :- user data folder locations at bottom of screen. This is where is saves your games etc. But there is also a little tick box that lets you also save any temporary files in the same location. If you want your temp files saves somewhere else i.e. on another partition...make a folder on the other partition in your case E: ( as you dont want it to use J: ) and then make sure this is set as your user folder, and then tick the save temp files in same location. See if that works.
