dan_lcfc Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Hey, i got FM11 the day before realease (thurs 4th) and tried to install via STEAM (dur!), when it told me the game wasnt released and I couldnt install it 'till midnight. So I quit the install process and did it via the disk, so I could sort my preferences and database out ready for the kickstart when the first patch came out! Now the only problem is that when I try to load up the game via Games For Windows (vista) it just takes me to a shortcut of my save game folder??? :confused: To load up the game, I have to load it from the .exe in the program files, it wont even do it if I double click th edisk in 'Computer' Its not a real issue, just thought it was a strange problem, and I cant sort a desktop icon out for 'easy access' as its called Any help would be greatly appreciated dan_lcfc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do this: Start > Computer > C:\ drive (or whichever drive it is installed on) > Program Files > Sports interactive > fm11 icon. I have essentially the same issue, I think, and this circumvents it.
