Steam Have Not Patched My Game! Help

I have just been playing fm11 all week, and i found out they had released 11.1.1 and wanted to update, i read that steam auto patches these games and that currently i am still on 11.1.0, even when i start a new game, the default main setting only gives me 11.1.0.

What do i have to do then as i am logged into steam and nothing

There is no data update, so a new game will read 11.1.0 - to check what version of the game you're running go to 'game status' in a game and look at the version number. Cheers.

Neil, I suggested this in another thread about this same problem: a lot of people are looking at the database version when starting a new game and think that the game is unpatched. The version number is a bit difficult to find for some people.

Maybe it's a good idea to put the current version on the FM start screen (in the lower left corner for example) so people can see at a glance after starting up the game, which version they are running.
