The big transfer issue debate (Player naming)

I've seen countless threads on here now saying there is an issue with transfers. I have played through one whole season and I must admit I never seen anything untoward with transfers. Now I'm not saying there isn't an issue but I can't quite see from my experience if there is an issue.

This being the case I have decided to post my transfer list for Jan, Jun and July for transfers >1m (I know bit teadious and a bit sad:o but it's only way to prove my claim) so people can see the issues that they are saying are happening are not happening for everyone, so then is it a bug??

I also started with no budget for first transfer window

In thiese lists I would say the transfers look about right for me. The big shocker for me was James McArthur going to Burnley for 6.5 million in June. First JMcA going for 6.5 mil and Burnely actually having money to burn. So here goes, enjoy if you dare plough through them:rolleyes:

I think the problem has been more with big name players such as Tevez who went to Chelsea for 12m on my game during the first season.

I'm not going to complain though as this is the only example i've seen in my game but other people have seen some pretty crazy stuff.

try selling 1 of your decent players, you will get little to no money in regards to offers for them. I couldnt sell a superman type Carrager, Joe Cole nor Dzeko.

in my save Rossi went to Real for £17 million, which is the reasonable price i think, compared to your £8 million(which is not so out of this world unbelievable). So obviously it all differs from game to game.

The only big one in my game is that chelsea bought Dzeko for 8 million, 6 months after they paid 7.5 million for landon donovan.

There definatly is a bug. Enough people have spoken up about it. However that doesn't mean this bug effects you as much as it does others. You might have been lucky... for now

I didn't notice anything strange at first. When Valencia offered me Mata for 7mil I figured something internal had happened and I got lucky.

Now the season has ended and I checked the players on the transfer list.

Gonzalo Hiquain

Fernando Llorente (Who won the European Golden Boot)

Luis Suarez

Ryan Shawcross

etc..

It's nice to see that big name players can cause internal problems and force their club to sell them cheaply since this can happen IRL. However it seems to happen to often.

I've seen Keith Fahey, David Edwards and Frank Fielding all being released during the first pre-season on my game.

Whilst they aren't week in - week out starters, In Fielding's case he's been involved with the England U-21's, they shouldn't be leaving their respective clubs for nothing.

So if this is the case there must be some reasons as to why this is the case For me I am playing with all leagues loaded some on play only so maybe that is one factor - less players on the database means more chances for players to move around kinda makes sense. Which means SI would have to place a sliding scale effect on transfers depending on how many players are in the game. I'm hopeful they already do this and it's a case the setting is off.

Other factors for me though might have something to do with how the finalcial situation is setup. I wonder if S.I also setup the finalcial setup as how it is irl. at this momment of time we are not seeing players that people are mentioning going for the kind of money they are going for but that doesn't mean to say that ain't going to happen. We have, just like the game, seen falling attendances in the game becasue people just haven't got the money to buy either season tickets or go to games week in week out, and this is being reflected in game.

Who's to say that the transfers will go back to normal in game in 5 - 10 years time as tbh no one has really been able to play long term games or assessed what is going to happen or is happening.

Now I know there are bugs theres another thread wilth Andrew Driver going to Rangers for 23 Million. But I'm not convinced that everyone who has ben coming on here has been getting bugs when it could do more with unrealistic expectations. No one apart from S.I can say this is the case or not and I'm sure they must have the same questions I am asking everytime they see a new thread with these issues. I decided to post to show that these issues don't happen to everyone so maybe S.I will look at the fact I have posted some proof of this and take something from it.
