Celtic_1967
I don't think I've ever seen a player booked for time wasting. Does it happen? I've just watched an opposition player take 20 seconds or more to take a free kick when in stoppage time with the score at 0-0. The free kick was all lined up, players on both sides looking for position in the box and the kick taker just stood there. No yellow card, the clock just ran down. I find it really frustrating because it's something I rarely do as a manager. I feel it is against the spirit of the game. However it seems that it is a punishment free legitimate tactic in FM. I'd have no issue if time wasting on FM meant that your player would be more inclined to run the ball into the corner of the pitch and hold it there as long as possible, however all high time wasting seems to do is increase the amount of time that it takes players to take set peices. I says lets have yellow cards for time wasting. It'd make those managers who do it more cautious about doing it.
