player cap 25

is it possible to remove the squad cap via the editor in some way? Haven't tried editing since fm08 so wouldn't have the slightest clue where to find the editor and if it still installs with the game? any help appreciated thanks.

I wouldn't have thought so mate, this would be a bit like playing god now. It's an official rule that's been installed, it would be like trying to edit the game so you could field 12 subs in EPL games or only field 10 players from the start or something!

I like working to the 25, it gives my transfer activity a bit more of an edge!

Also, the editor is in Program Files > SI, not My Docs, that's probably why you canne find it. It took me a while.

Cheers Matt, i too like the challenge of shortening the squad, i just get a little lazy around January when i find it harder to shift players when i want to bring in a new name or 2

Just had a quick look, my computer (C:) program files - sports interative football manager 2011, i only have a folder for uninstall football manager 2011? Could it be somewhere else, i have the boxed version but installed via Steam?

If you really needed too, could you not edit the rules in the Competition you are competing in? Not really sure if you can tbh, but if you were able, that would probably be the most likeliest of places to do so.

Agree with others though, it adds a level of difficulty to transfers policy and squad management.

Yea in mine it's in Program Files(x86) or something.

try program files, then steam, then steamapps, then common, then fm2011, then tools then editor! (hope this helps) and yes its possible to remove the 25 squad cap, my "british" league (with teams from all over england scotland wales and ireland) has a 99 squad limit
