Agents offering players.

Right, I love the agent offering players side of things, I know in a basic way its been about for years but now I find it a lot more often, especially in lower league play.

But one thing please Si, if a agent offers his player to me, why does the agent then say "Player X has no interest in joining your club" when I make an offer and have it accepted ?

This happens countless times each and every transfer window, whats the point in him coming to me, to then say "Yeah like my client is going to join you"

I can also appreciate that the player may not want to come to my club, but if his agent has approached me, wouldnt his agent atleast have the decency to listen to what I have to offer his client ?
