How long do players generally hate you for.

I'm Liverpool Boss, and have just finished my first season, finishing a respectable 3rd, but around February I annoyed Torres so much when he questioned my discipline (I of course told him he was wrong. He should respect mah authoritah!), and he's been refusing to speak to me since then. I'm thinking of selling him as the money would come in handy, and it's not like I need him(Only got 13 goals last season in 35 appearances), especially as he's injured half the time. But if I can get him back on side, I'd consider keeping him. Anyone know roughly how long I have to wait till he'll allow me to speak in his presence?
