Jordanknox
Im managing Sunderland and signed 18 year old Connor Wickham, hes actually pretty good and hes played in 24 first team games this season (im in January). Anyway, out of the blue he popped up saying he is very unhappy at lack of first team football. Hes played in nearly every game!

Simply... Awesome!
There are liitle things you can do in game OR happen to you in game that affect morale. Off the top of my head: - a striker going a large number of games and not scoring (even if he gets a high rating or a few assists) - stated player playing a fewer than expected matches - when you declare interest in other players not on your team that play in your stated players position - offering a large number of players to other clubs (worried he might be next) - not prasing players frequently enough.... OR too much ... FM can be complicated like that!
grep
I guess that's a feature which simulates a player free " provocation " .... or it simply a minor bug.
MagicMidget
Have you set his squad status as "first team"? I've not seen it on FM11, but on FM10 a few players started getting upset if i had them down as "rotation" or "back up"
