When you start new game do you allow transfers or not?

I guess if you want more realistic squads as they are you will tick no and not allow transfers so squads as they are now

but if you click yes you can bring in players and sell

what do you do? I am starting new game and considering what option I should pick.

I do allow, just because I want to buy where I feel I lack players in the first season, but not because I want to make some major overhaul.

I prefer squads to be as realistic as possible, so I always use that feature in every game...

I never allow transfers in the first window, even if my team are crap. I just make loans/frees in that case.

But now i'm playing as Spurs, could've bought a better striker but i prefer it this way. Jan signings are unlikely too for me,but expect chelsea to splash out £60 mill

I tried disabling budgets for the first time on my new save. It's the budgets that are disabled, not the transfers, you can still sign free agents.

It made pre-season less of a scramble, with no pressure to make a big signing straight off I sent my scouts out to slowly accumulate a shortlist.

Yeah, the budgets are disabled so you can't really bring in staff or anything. Didn't like it much.

i never allow transfers. all the teams get all mixed up and you wouldn't recognize any of them by september. often i don't even take a job until january anyway.
