Help with 'Could not load saved Game' error

Played the game before dinner, saved and exited as per usual.

Came back now to continue, and now get this

Any help guys?

It looks like the game did not save at all as the Load Last Game option is greyed out. This type of error often means there is a bad file type. Judging by your screenshots the game you are playing is though STEAM, if I'm correct had the game updated or installed to 100% ?

Do you have enough space on your hard disk ?

Did you quit before it had finished saving ?

Nope the Game is through the Disc which is in the Drive.

Yeah, over 400gb space left, nope, I clicked quit game and save as I always do, and then let it do what it had to.

The game may not have installed correctly. Esp as at the bottom of the screen next to View Match button there should be a button for Check for Updates, this is present on mine and two of my friends versions. When you installed the game did it say installed but with errors ?

Also is the patch installed and did that install correctly ?

Have you used the editor?

My advise at this stage is to uninstall the game, remove any instances (folders etc) and then do a fresh install.

Hey, yeah It installed all fine as fire as I am aware. Has been working fine since Thursday. Will just uninstall and try again :-(

did you install the patch ? if not it could fix any errors, as weird as it sounds

I had the same problem on the weekend.

No problems installing and I also have the patch.

Maybe its a glitch or something with the cd install?

Just check that JAVA and Direct X are up to date as well.

I'm running from the DVD with no problems and all my drivers are up to date.
