Techie Help

Recommended Posts

Just bought a new HP G5135uk PC last month.

It's got an ''Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 HD'' graphics card. Now, me not being massively savvy on the guts of PC's and all the techie stuff I was fully expecting to be able to run Football Manager with optimum performance, the game itself runs fine, but i'm quite disappointed that the 3D match engine will only play smoothly on medium quality (which it selects automatically). When switched to high quality the game becomes less responsive and the match jumps constantly.

Just wondering why this is? and if anything can be done with the PC to make it better without having to open it up?

If it comes down to having to purchase a better graphics card then I might consider that aswell.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Thanks

the Intel cards are notoriously poo, they are getting better but they aint great.

Try getting the latest drivers from intel.com it may help a little.

I had one in a laptop, and it was a little guff, but I could never test it to full power etc... because I dont run windows.
