cant play ayala....

just bought ayala from liverpool for bolton, contract signed and everything and he is now at the club.

however, it says he is ineligible to play and when i click on his profile he doesnt have a contract. i offered him a new contract assuming this would solve the problem however, after he accepted it nothing changed... anyone know how to sort this??

that happened in FM2010 as well, as far as i remember if you go to your squad screen, there should be a player registration button somewhere. Pretty sure its that.

did you give the lad a squad number ? if a player doesnt have a squad number after the registration period is over then he is inelligable to play in the league until the next player registeration which is the next transfer window

cant be that cos this is start of second season...

however he also got loaned out to anderlect last season. does this mean he's played for 3 clubs in 2011 and therefore cant play until january or is that done by season?

yeah he has a squad number. number 25 (not that the actuall number matters! lol)

if your club was the 3rd club in 12 months he was playing for then the deal would not have gone through, I am sure there is a reason why he can't play but I have no idea what it could be, is there a drug ban ? a lengthy suspension from the F.A ?

Maybe post this in the bugs forum section with a few screen shots like of his information screen, playing history screen and his profile screen.
