The fix to the long shots problem

To all the people who are complaining about long shots..

you are dense, get your head checked

the match engine is MUCH better than last years game, i have no problems with players making runs and through balls being made to result in goals in the box

I think its a bit of both. You can help it with tactics, but there is definitely an increase in long shots. Im sure it will be dealt with in the next patch, there is just too many people who are seeing it

I personally find my players trying long shots because they have too many defenders in the way, or due to "just wanting to try it" when they have a clear shot and the keeper is off the line

If I look at my team - it often has to do with opposition tactics. I've played matches where I've had 15 shots and only 2-3 were long shots and in other matches 15 out of 20 shot were long shots. I think if players can't make it into penalty box, they'll try long shots.
