bigfatjoeitfc
could be that he has already accepted an offer from another club
Bababui
could be that he has already accepted an offer from another club I checked to see if he had signed in the week or two I have played since the screenie. Hi is still unsigned but now I can offer him a contract. Now Im really confused if this is working as designed or a small bug?
cris182
was the player not reserved for the free agents game at the start of the season?
Bababui
was the player not reserved for the free agents game at the start of the season? Perhaps thats the reason although I dont remember if it fits the timeframe. Its the best explanation yet though.
DeadZone
Shouldn't stop a contract offer, surely?
Bababui
Shouldn't stop a contract offer, surely? When players are in a National Trial squad, the game doesnt allow contract offers until after the match. Not sure why though.
Sel
i just did a sports law exam today so im buzzing Odds are that they sign a contract with the organisers of the match saying they will play this match and not negotiate with anyone until its over for fear of the fixture falling through with not enough players and sued by all players involved for costing them a chance of getting a contract themselves

iAmGory
Noticed this after scouting the England trial day in one save, and the Welsh trial day in another. Out of, say 6 players, 2-3 couldn't be offered contracts or trials, but the rest could. It's very odd.
