data editor

hey guys sorry if this has already been posted before but i cant find the data editor, im using steam and its not where it was last time in the sports interactive folder.

If installed using the STEAM activation method the game editor can be found at:

Computer > Local Disk (C: > Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > football manager 2011 > tools

Should be there.

If installed on offline systems it can be found in C: > Program Files > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > tools > editor > editor.exe

On Vista and W7 It can also be accessed by right-clicking on FM2010 icon in games explorer

If installed using steam the editor can be found: C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Football Manager 2010\Tools\

If installed on Mac it can be found: /Users/*YOURUSERNAME*/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/football manager 2010/tools/

still dont have it, I've followed that path but I don't even appear to have a Steam folder in my Program Files?

I feel your pain FM_Spurs i too am looking for the data editor to change the french bans bug, followed the path above and i also have no steam folder in my program files.

Is Steam installed on your C drive or do you have a second hard drive?

My steam should be placed in the default location, i dont recall requesting it to go anywhere else.

Ive even typed steamapps in my search programme & files and it says no items matched your search.

I'm experiencing the same problem, I'm using a PC, I installed via-Steam and I don't appear to have a Steam folder in my C-drive, I've looked on my D and there's nothing, I'm really confused.

still nowhere to be seen and i`ve checked more than once :confused:

Sounds like the folder might be a hidden folder. Try going into Control panel and choosing Folder options. Under one of the Tabs you should find the option to Show Hidden Folders...If it's still not at the path suggested above after that, then I am not sure why you haven't got that folder.

Has it created a shortcut to Fm2011 on the desktop?

If so, you can just right click > Properties and the path of the correct folder should be displayed in the box labelled 'target'.
