Play 2010 in XP mode.

I am still playing 2010 and the game runs fine until match day. If i play the game in 3D it takes an age to set up, the game freezes a lot and it takes for ever to process at the end, playing the game in classic (the one were the counters move about) it runs fine.

I was wondering if i ran the game in XP rather than in Vista it might perform better. On other games i would normally right click on the icon and choose in which mode i would like to run the game but this option does not seem to be available by using this method. I am not sure that this would even help the game run better but just thought i would give it a try, my reasoning being that my processor size is large enough for the XP spec but smaller for Vista spec (1.7). Hope someone can help.
