Sootz
Anybody tried to sign him in FM2011? He has this min. transfer fee clause of £17.5mil and I managed to get permission to talk to his agent. Then comes the funny part: His agent requests for 2 clauses: 1. Min. transfer fee of £17.5mil 2. 10% of future transfer fee to go to Adler I tried removing + changing these 2 clauses but no way you will get the agent to agree to the contract if you modify the 1st clause. He wont even agree to me changing min. transfer fee to £18mil. Moreover, he asks for £100k per week + £7.5mil sign on fee + £3mil+ agent fee. So theoretically, after you sign him, any big club can come and sign him next week for £17.5mil and he and his agent gets another sign on fee + a cut of £1.75mil out of the transfer fee. And I bet his agent will repeat the scam. Repeat and rinse. and the funny part is: I signed him lol
SiN8
I got the exact same situation. IMO, this is a bug. I'm willing to meet the wage demands, but I refuse to put in the same minimum release clause as my purchase price.
SmurfDude
I bought him for United and changed the min release fee to £120m I think. I wouldn't have bought him otherwise
JimmyWangYang
Arturo Vidal's agent wants a £10,25M release clause. I was able to up that clause to £25M by offering the agent a higher fee. Will probably have to do 100 of these negotiations before I know if the agents are taking advantage of me.
DeadZone
If the player really wants to sign for you and you're the only team bidding Try and force talks to break down over something simple, because apparently the players are likely to sack the agent then, meaning you might be able to get a more favourable contract with the player directly or the new agent
