lurkingwithintent Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 If you negotiate and agree terms with an agent quicker, does that effect either: A) Your relationship with that agent B) The chance that the player the agent represents joining you over other clubs is higher? I'm pretty sure it effects A - and that agents you get on with are more likely to get their players to join you, but does it effect B enough that you should really make an effort to agree terms asap whilst negotiating? russ the womble Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 Just playing a network game. I offered an agent an increased agents fee and met their demands for players wages. The agent said he'd tie up the paperwork and it was all a formality. My friend offered £18k a week more to the player, but he still came to me.
