What are our initial thoughts of the new FM then?

Like it. It's not perfect but interesting to play.

I like it. Then again I'm new to FM.

Will be a great game when the custom views disappearing after navigating away from the tactics screen bug is fixed, finding it really frustrating atm having to add assistant managers opinion of current ability to the squad screen before every single game.

I say above expectations

The Good:

Simplified yet deeper training

3D engine is excellent

contract negotiations are more realistic

Lots of small little goodies that make the game deeper

The Stuff SI Should do to Make the Game Better:

This is a game where lots of data must be analyzed in the form of judging players. In the squad screen, the scouting screen, etc. The basic page views give us little data that is useful. SI should have dropdown menus that have position specific templates so that we may more easily find out who looks to be our best MC without tons of clicking or cheating.

The game can a little laggy and unresponsive

Not a lot of thought was put into the skin

I would like to see non licensed leagues represented with fictional setups to make a deeper world of football

Overall, this game is quite good.

I'm really enjoying it so far. It's more difficult, but I like that. Some weird bugs with the UI, and a few tweaks needed to discipline in general, esp. yellow/red cards. But overall, I'd say a big thumbs up, very positive move forward!

after the first round of votes things seem to be pretty positive all in all. you're tempting me to buy it. again. for the 15th year running. oh, dear god.

and the masses have reacted to that with a strong balancing act of 'meh, it's nothing special. it's great, it's fm, but it's nothing out of the ordinary'. interesting. very interesting...

I actually love it. It so much more polished, the news screen is not as annoying once you filter certain items. O I am so in love. Convos are great. Great job SI

It's all right. I actually don't like the protracted transfer negotiations as it takes longer although you do get a better idea of what the player thinks about your offers. Matches are a bit better. Match reviews are very good now. It's improved but not a great jump. Will need to play more to see the differences. Inbox and news screen is better but it's probably impossible to pass on so much info right.
