Anost
I have this on one of my saves. Board allows me £230 per week to sign an assistant manager but every single person who applies want £400+ and refuses to go below £300. As a result I've had to do all press conferences and team talks etc (I do anyway, but it'd be nice to skip the odd one or two). Those very same people are happy to be my teams coach for £150 a week though...
johnhughthom
Since you are advertising the position (do clubs actually do this, has anybody ever been online on a jobsite, or reading the local paper and saw a job as a coach/physio/scout etc advertised?) it is reasonable to expect the advertisement would carry a salary for the role and the people applying should have some sort of awareness of what you can afford. Some of the salary expectations can be very silly.
