Downloading via Amazon.

I have the option of downloading the game via Amazon, here in the States.

Is this recommended? Or will i not be able to link it to Steam?

Steam is not working for me for some reason. It says i cannot connect to the servers.

I have tried re-installing, virus checking and i'm not sure why it still isn't connecting to the store.

Amazon says it is released with patch 11.1...does this mean i won't be able to update the game when new patches are released?

Or will i be able to do it manually?

I'm not sure about how future patches will work on Digital versions of the game, unless SI will be so kind to remove the DVD check.

About your Steam problem, since you didn't provide any details I have only one suggestion:

Delete all the *.blob files in your Steam folder.

No, still isnt working.

I renamed them (just in case), and it crashed while loading.

i get this error:

Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not connected to the internet.-102

It's been happening ever since i tried to download the game.
