Hangs after quitting

So I've just intalled the box version via steam, updated to 11.1...then whenever I press the quit button then click "yes" the, the game didnt close and instead it hangs there...need to use task manager to force close it...any help:confused:

okay so I tried playing via offline mode and it works fine(can quit game normally) but I resume online mode it hangs again...seems like no1 is able to help me now though =/

alright this force end task via task manager is getting very annoying now, seriously after 60+ views only 3 replies and all of them are to myself? none encountered similar problem?

something is making the game hang on exit try deleting the cache files

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:

My Computer

'Tools'

'Folder Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

My Computer

'Organize'

'Folder and Search Options'.

The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Once this is done, follow the instructions below:

Windows XP:

1. Open “My Computer”

2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\

3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.

4. Go to the “Football Manager 2011” Folder.

5. Delete the 'cache' Folder found inside here.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

1. Click “Start”

2. Click your username on the start Menu

3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”

4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder

5. Go to the “Football Manager 2011” Folder.

6. Delete the 'cache' Folder found inside here.

so yours still manages to close itself even if it's slow?

Okay I've tried a few times now and I can conclude that I need to delete the cache file everytime before I open the game so that it wont hang when I quit

it is with the demo because my comp is crap

id click exit and about 2 minutes later it will close
