Edited Database

I've made a few changes on the Database which have saved fine (I added a player). However even when i select just the 11.1 Database which is un-edited, the player i added still appears in the game?!?

Maybe you saved over the 11.1?

you said you added a player then in the sae post you said the player is still there, well if you added him of course he'll be there. I think you are confusing yourself when you typed that Opening Post.

In response, iv got no explaination tbh. Maybe you have saved over the original database? Though like you I didnt think it was possible as in the editor it asks you to pick a save name for the altered database and when you load the editor the original database is always loaded by default. Im not sure :S

The editor doesn't save over a database, it creates an xml file which documents the changes you make. These work on all FM databases.

I dont get it, very strange..

This happened to me in fm10....very annoying

I edited a teams finances and played a game with it and then wanted to start a new game using database 10.3 but the teams finances were still edited. I could not even change the setting back to default

When you chose the database click "change" right to the "Editor data files" and deselect the database you made.

You can also manually remove the edited xml (dbc) file in your "editor data" folder.

Ah right, that could be it, ill give it a go later.
