Same problem here... no option to get the game, get the code... and no reply from D2D customer service.

I'm back from work in 6 hours and if I don't have my FM2011 from D2D I will demand a refund, and purchase it from Steam; anyway - this was the last purchase I made at D2D. It's not only that I can't get my game, but that they keep silent about it. I'm REALLY fed up :|.

It doesn't matter when they start working... this is where they make money, and they should be able to deliver the product; they aren't. So far I was always satisfied with them, but now we are almost 13 hours behind the time that Steam made the game available, and almost 11 behind the launch date (CET); this is absolutely unacceptable;

As said - I'm waiting till 16-17 CET, and if they game is still not ready for download then... I'm gonna probably burst into tears, as they don't give refunds ;))). Anyway - I will demand a refund nonetheless - they did not provide service and product I payed for. The clock is ticking :p... good that I didn't take Holiday to play today ;))).

I was about to order from this website but think Steam will be getting my order. I have noticed that alot of the direct download sites have the problem. And game say its not available for download uninstall midnight tonight.

Apparently, from what I read, there are also issues with downloading FM2011 from Steam... If I were You - I'd wait till the evening or tomorrow and monitor what's going on. As I said before - I NEVER had problems with D2D, and they usually have much better prices than Steam. This is the first time I'm having such an issue. Nonetheless it's still not solved, and there is virtually NO info.

The sad part is that they don't seem to be doing anything about it. Seriously - this is absolutely unprofessional!

I'm waiting till the end of the day, and expecting full refund; I bought it on UK site, and the launch date was 5th of November; if it is not available till 1 AM CET (which is midnight in UK) I am expecting the refund.

Man, I'm angry! (and I don't accept explanation that it's just a game! ;))) )

Anyone got any joy yet ?

I bought the game like a day ago hoping that I could download at midnight on release day and play immediately, it's now 14.03 UK time, two emails to direct2drive later, no response, no code, no information about what's going on at all. How can you be preselling a game that is physically out in stores? So frustrating

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry you've been experiencing problems using this service. I will try to find out if we can contact someone there to help you and to find out what's going on and why you've not yet got your codes.

Thanks for Your support on this, because they don't reply at all, and this is getting ridiculous. Being a total FM (and FML ;) ) addict I would probably buy another copy from Steam, or just pick up a copy at the gameshop near my work, but... that's not the case. We paid money, and we have nothing... not even a scrap of information from them. And this is not allright.

Anyway - thanks for showing interest in it, as probably there's MANY more people affected by this issue, than just us in the forum.

This is my first year studying in australia so i thought i would try to order it from somewhere else to save myself from paying that extraorbitant fee steam charges. But its now be one day and i have not got my game and its really annoying. I filed 2 complaints and requests for refunds already. I don't really want the game now. I just want my money back so i can order from another place.

Hi All,

Unfortunately Direct2Drive have not yet released this game - I'm being told it will release today - if I can find out more precise details I will let you know - but I would expect it to be online within the next 3-4 hours.

Thanks.

They run on PDT, so now it's 7 AM there... probably they start work in 1-2 hours, and then something will happen. Anyway - it's at least good to know that they plan on releasing FM ;))).

My life is getting better again ;). Thanks for the update.

PS

Isn't that pathetic that a game can make my life worse or better?

PS2

Naaah... it's not a game... it's Football Manager!!! ;))

Just seen a couple of Direct2Drive activations coming through the server (Test Accounts) - so shouldn't be too long (<2 hours) before officially released..

Plenty of time to do everything you need to do, before commencing on the delightful season start and soon realising it's 2am and the house is dark and you need the toilet and some food badly! :)

Update: Just received some feedback from D2D regarding my questions about when the bleep the game will be available to download. Their response:

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us, as noted on the games information page, there is no specific time stated on when the game will release, only that it's going to be available today.

The game will be released later on today within the next few hours. As soon as it's available, you'll be able to access your game file and activation key from your account page.

Regards,

A few hours? Hmm I hope that's just a very generous estimate and what he really means is within the next ten minutes
