filcom101
looking at a thread just there and it makes a good point. there is very few players in the last 2 FM's that have lots of 20 stats.......just have a look at C.Ronaldo, he has two 20's but he has seven,18,19's same with most of the top players.....i remember fat ronaldo in CM 2001/02 and he had 5 or 6 20's and Ronaldinho in FM 05, he had lots of 20's.... and for the other Q if im looking at 2 wingers to buy and they have pretty much the same stats and age ......but one is £18m with 19 crossing and the other is £16m wit 17 crossing....i'll go with the £16m player.....and save £2m
SCIAG
There are very few players who are the best in the world at a lot of things. For example, Ronaldo is probably the best dribbler in the world, but he doesn't have Messi's technique, or Villa's finishing, or Agbonlahor's pace, or Mikel's strength, or Mascherano's tackling. The real Ronaldo probably wasn't actually the best in the world at the things he had 20s in, but research standards have been changed in that area, IMO for the better. There's isn't a great deal of difference between players with two attribute points difference, because there are lots of attributes and they all work together. However, if a player had 19s across the board, he'd be significantly better than a player with 17s across the board.
Da Beezer
I actually miss the days with a lot of 20s and generally better players. However, I do agree that it's more realistic now.
