Managers Retiring

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else noticed how other managers seem to retire in their early sixties and almost always before their contracts run out? It's happened in my game where the likes of Harry Redknapp, Fabio Capello, Giovanni Trappatoni, Roy Hodgson retired two years into the game (2011) and Holger Osieck (Australian coach) retired in 2013 (one year before the World Cup). Has this been addressed as an issue for FM 2011?

The only issue I have with managers retiring is there are no news items to tell the human manager. When someone like Alex Ferguson retires in game you would expect to be informed via a news item celebrating his career.

Most managers IRL retire in their 60's so I suppose thats why the game is coded like this. The odd exception like Trappatoni go into their 70's.
