Regens and AI squad youth building..?

Has there been any further development of the Ai team youth team squad building.? for long term games this has to be the biggest area needing improvment..

Because top teams dont seem to have any sence when it comes to building good youth teams for future i feel over time the game comes easier.. I do how ever feel preasure to go out from the word go and try to buy as many top young players because i know if i let other top teams get them the chances are they will be gone forever unless you have 50 mill to spend at a later date..
