Changing the match preparation formations

Some of the formations that I use are missing from the match preparation options. For example, I play a 4-2-3-1 with 2 CMs, two wingers and one AMC, but the only 4-2-3-1 possible is the one with three AMC's... what should I do then, I can't seem to be able to modify the formations.

I haven't actually used match preparation yet, but I assumed you created a tactic, saved it, then selected it in one of your match preparation slots?

It lets me. Save your tactic to a different name either through the tactic creator or just 'tactic...save' and then you'll be able to select it in the match preparation screen.

This is what I do. You can't modify when you're on that screen, but if you save your tactic on the tactics screen, you can select that formation.

Click the tactic drop down menu, then "manage tactics".

You can't delete a tactic that you have set. So set your tactic to something else first then delete it.
