Is there a way to publicy complain about an agent?

I was just wondering if you could go to the media and said "We would have loved to sign this player but his agent's fees were way too high". Or "His agent was asking for far too unrealistic wages"

Maybe use this a last gasp atempt to sign a player or if you were a big club and thought that the agent was trying to take advantage of you. The player may then turn round to the agent and convince him to lower his demands.

Maybe the only way to do it is when in a press conference and the press ask you are you interested in X Y or Z you can say yes most definatly and then add what quote you want in the extra space below.

Not sure whether it will effect anything in connection with the agent mind.

Worth a try maybe?

That's what I was thinking, as some of the agents are very fustrating. Especially Owen Hargreaves'!!!
