This is THE biggest feature in the game, since you're always looking at the darn thing. I'm disappointed this has been overlooked.

Essential for me, I suffer with migrane and can't play with the current skin! Big oversight in my view.

Last year's Dark Skin was the best skin to have shipped with the game I've seen. Can't believe it's been pulled, and am hoping a dark skin was just not included in the demo for file-size purposes, and will be included in the full game.

Have not SI said they will make one available re full game? I am sure that was said in the first impressions thread.

A 100% 'Yes' from me, i'm kind of baffled why they decided to leave it out, would love to know the reason why they did though.

No one ever said that we're leaving the dark skin out for the full version. And as Steve Cox mentioned earlier, it wasn't available in the boxed release last year either.

So as with last year the dark skin will be available in the first patch.

Cannot believe only the bright skin in the retail version .....absolutely bonkers it's not as if this hasn't been debated before with god knows how many people disliike the bright skin!

Maybe its their way of getting people to buy it via Steam, rather than the (cheaper) retail version?

What I want to know is what the reason was to pull the feature out? Like many good working features its gets pulled out.

Another " A new updated darker skin will be featured in the 2012 version" gimmick.

this topic was necessary, because SI is NOT AWARE of what is important for FM players.

The release will NOT include a dark skin. Because they thought it was unnecessary.

Won't be in full game mate.

Work on the dark skin started ages ago.

Just wait for further information, all I can say is you won't have to wait months for a dark skin.

It's much easier to develop the game with one skin and then create a second skin once the game is signed-off. If you are developing two skins simultaneously, you end doing twice as much work because every tweak has to be done to both skins, every bug has to be fixed in both skins, every screen has to be throroughly tested and retested with both skins and so on. Doing it this way is much more time-efficient and much safer in terms of the quality of the skin because there's much less chance of a bug or issue being fixed in one skin and not in the other.
