explain Match Preparation please

Ive created 3 tactics... current (4-4-2) 4-1-3-2 4-3-3 .. now a few days before each game my assistant says I should prepare for the match via this screen. Exactly what should I be doing? As I dont want to change my 3 tactics to anything else.

So should I do anything else on the screen? or just ignore it once setup, I dont see the point of it.

Well you can choose from the options like defensive posistons etc and train your team on that get them use to doing certain things for instance if you play 442 say for about 10 games then all off a sudden change to 343 dont expect your team to play well as they wont be use to playing it the preperation lets them get use to this if you get me
