I know what you mean, can't they build at least one version of FM that is suitable for all users, No bugs, Technical issues, even extend the release date in future, just make a game that is playable from installation to when you decide to exit the game. Every year it's either this problem or that problem.
Trents
This error seems to be linked with Steam and the only successful fix I can find is a simple reboot. I'd suggest downloading the other demo version tomorrow and seeing if you have better luck with that.

hhhonlyfan
try this guys Step one Verify Game cache: -Load Steam -From the My Games tab, right-click on FM2011 Demo and select Properties from the menu. -Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button. -Steam will verify the game cache files (GCF's) - this process may take several minutes. -Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit. hhhonlyfan
- Simply close down Steam via going to the 'Exit' then restart it Step Tree: Verify Game Cache again - It should download the damaged files and resolve this issue.
