kennhyl Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 Hi I have downloaded steam in order to get the FM2011 demo and am just wondering if I need to create a new account or can I just get the demo when it's released without signing up for an account....I intend uninstalling steam shortly after I get the demo anyway. You also won't be able to uninstall Steam if you want to play the demo, as it will (probably) have to run when you play the demo. If you want to try the demo without having to load Steam, I'm not sure that will possible even if you download the demo from somewhere else on Friday. Just as an example you had to use Steam to play the Mafia 2 demo even if you installed it from the DVD bundled with a copy of PC Gamer. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
